Johannes Matt

I am a Ph.D. candidate in Economics at the London School of Economics, a research associate at the Centre for Macroeconomics, and a fellow at LSE's School of Public Policy.

My research covers the interaction between financial markets and the real economy. My job market paper has been awarded the EEA/UniCredit Foundation Best JMP Prize 2025.

In the autumn of 2026, I will join the International Monetary Fund as an economist.
